We are very proud to announce that we have received re-accreditation of our program through NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). We are the only church-based program in Lincoln to have reached this highest professional standard.  Approximately  8% of early childhood programs nationwide are accredited, putting us in this very elite category. NAEYC Accreditation lets families know that the children in our program are getting the best care and early learning experiences possible! Please feel free to congratulate the staff on all of their hard work and effort towards this process.

We had a great time at Roca Berry Farms with many families joining us for great weather, hayrack rides and loads of fun!  We could have done without the bees though! It was nice to see all of you!

The kids had a great time wearing their costumes and trick-or-treating through the church staff offices as well as playing games in the gym and watching “Great Pumpkin” Charlie Brown.

During the next month we will be selling Village Inn Pie certificates for $11.00 each.  You can buy certificates from us and even help to sell them!! The certificates are redeemable at Village Inn for any pie and are good for one year.

And a few things to keep in mind this month…

• As the weather becomes cooler, please remember to send a jacket for outside play
• Children need to be signed in and out each day
• You can sign up to bring snacks!
• Visitors are always welcome!
• We are still looking for Parent Testimonials to use for our website. Send your comments about the school to us using our contact form!

Halloween at Westminster saw teachers and students alike dressed in scary and fun costumes!

We had a great turnout for conferences with about 90% participation. We hope that everyone had the opportunity to find out how their child is doing and discuss individual goals for learning for the upcoming months.

We were able to raise about $380.00 in money for books from our book fair!! We will be placing our order next week.
